Grace Church gathers for worship and small groups on Sundays and Wednesdays at 301 Heathrow Drive—a temporary location at Shoals Christian School. But watch out for the Summer Schedule change.
Sunday, small groups at 9:00 a.m., worship at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by fellowship and group discussion.
What to Expect
MYTH - The church can’t understand what I’m going through.
REALITY -
Whatever you’re going through is personal. But people at Grace have
problems too. We can bring our problems to church. Churches exist
because there is no one who doesn’t have problems.
MYTH - Churches only want my money.
REALITY -
God doesn’t need money, but His mission on earth needs it. The money
you give helps to share the hope Jesus gives and to care for people in
our community and in the world.
MYTH - I won’t fit in.
REALITY - Some
people have been hurt by church. So maybe you want to move slowly with
spiritual things; maybe you’re ready to go faster. We make it a point
to support people and let them grow at their own pace.
MYTH - I can only go to church “dressed up.”
REALITY - Dress as you please. God cares more about what’s on the inside than about the clothes we wear on the outside.
MYTH - A “real” church has a building.
REALITY - A
church is a gathering of believers who come together to worship, grow
in faith, and do the work of Jesus. A “real” church does these two
things—worship and work. It’s more important to celebrate God’s love in
Christ and do his mission than it is to have a building. Some day we’ll
have a building. We’re praying about that.
